From KXJZ's Insight

"The Future of Food - As the world searches to find a more sustainable method of producing a stable and ecologically-balanced food supply for a growing population, people tend to view organic farming as the possible solution. But a new report says organic farming cannot sustain the world's food needs. Many experts say a mix of organic and conventional farming is most-likely the solution. So, what will the future food supply look like and how will it change the Sacramento region's agricultural landscape? We'll speak with Navin Ramankutty, the author of the report, Pamela C. Ronald, Professor, Plant Pathology at The Genome Center, UC Davis, and Raoul Adamchak, Market Garden Coordinator at the UC Davis Student Farm."
